Customer communications

How well do your customer communications represent your business? Whether we’re talking about your letterheads, renewal invitation letters, brochures or other literature these items that your clients and prospects will see most, they are your shop window.

  • Do your customer recruitment communications have a clear call to action;
  • Is the language you use clear and transparent or full of jargon?
  • Are you proud to show clients your company literature, or does it not quite live up to expectations?
  • Are your renewal packs helping or hindering renewal retention?
  • Do your policy packs reassure new customers that they’ve made a wise choice by choosing your business?
  • Do you emails carry your brand and the appropriate legal and data protection wordings?
  • Are your client presentations impressive?

I have extensive experience in producing effective customer communications for general insurance businesses and understand the constraints that software systems often impose on some documents.  Clear and visually impressive customer communications can help your business to stand out from others and create the positive impression of your business that will help you win and retain clients.

A good starting point is a short audit of your communications by gathering a copy of every different communication that you use.  you can do this yourself internally and take a look at all of the documents, emails, brochures and the like and look at them together.  Do they look like they come form the same business?  Are all the company logos the same on each piece?  Are some of the items out of date?

Alternatively we can take a quick look at this for you and make some sensible recommendations.  This can be done quickly and usually for a cost of 3 days work.  Please get in touch if you’d like us to take a look at your communications.
